Description
Kujo Niko, known as Sirius, served as a Processor in the Fourth Platoon of the Spearhead Squadron under Kaie Taniya. A member of the Meridiana ethnic group with dark skin, black hair, and black eyes, he possessed the largest physical build in the squadron.

Before the war, he lived with parents and siblings, receiving minimal formal education. His personality was distinctly upbeat and optimistic, driven by a belief that life should be enjoyed fully and that losing the ability to laugh meant defeat. Despite his imposing appearance, he shared a passion for the stars, teaching Kaie Taniya about meteor showers, explaining celestial phenomena to the maintenance drone Fido, and frequently stargazing. He maintained a daily countdown to his military service's end on a hangar blackboard, starting after his assignment to Spearhead on April 1st, RY 367. This countdown continued until his death, stopping at 128 days.

Key service events included participating in a squadron cherry blossom viewing party on April 5th, where they observed shooting stars. On May 12th, he updated his countdown, dined with the squadron, and played soccer, accidentally striking Lev Aldrecht with the ball. On May 18th, he was documented stargazing with Fido. His final mission occurred on May 22nd during a nighttime rescue operation; mistaking a dormant Self-Propelled Mine for an injured soldier, he approached it. The mine activated and tore through his Para-RAID, mortally wounding him. Shinei Nouzen euthanized him, making him the Spearhead Squadron's third casualty.

He viewed Fido as an audience for astronomy, considered Mina Shiroka a sister-like figure, and received frequent lectures from Lev. He and Daiya Iruma humorously referred to Raiden Shuga as the squadron's "mom." He respected Shinei Nouzen as captain, believing Shin should guide them in death rather than die alongside them. In his final moments, he found solace in Shin’s presence, extracting a promise not to be forgotten. He expressed curiosity about Vladilena Milizé, hoping she might be a benevolent figure who could save the Eighty-Six.

His associated symbolism included the Gloriosa Lily as his representative flower, while his Personal Name, Sirius, directly referenced the brightest star in the Canis Major constellation. His story concluded with the events of his death.
