Description
Maina Yatomika, also known by her Personal Name "March Hare," served as a Processor in the Third Platoon of the Spearhead Squadron under Theoto Rikka's command. Assigned to the First Ward barracks on April 1st, RY 367, she participated in updated personnel photos, including a group photo organized by Shinei Nouzen alongside Lecca Lin and Mikuri Cairo. On April 5th, she joined the squadron's cherry blossom party celebrating its formation, observing shooting stars—an event later recalled during a mission on July 27th, shortly before combat.

Her routine activities included dining in the canteen on May 12th and playing darts with Lecca after the May 22nd battle that resulted in Kujo's death. She expressed displeasure during communications with Handler-One (Vladilena Milizé), particularly when Handler-One questioned Shinei Nouzen about his post-service goals, though she smiled at Shin's sarcastic replies. During downtime, she engaged in communal activities like laundry by the river with other female squadron members on June 13th, teasing Kurena Kukumila about her infatuation with Shin and later punishing male members for peeking. She questioned Kurena's feelings, calling her "cute" when flustered but expressing confusion over the attraction.

In combat, she fought in multiple engagements, including the June 15th battle where Kaie Taniya was lost. During the June 24th interception, she gasped in horror upon hearing Kaie's voice among the Legion forces. Her closest relationships were with Lecca and Mikuri, frequently seen together. She was deeply affected by Lecca's death on July 27th, afterward joining Kurena and Mikuri in sorrowfully viewing Lecca's empty room before playing darts. On August 15th, she, Mikuri, and Shuri were killed in action, becoming the ninth to eleventh casualties of the Spearhead Squadron.

She supported the squadron's unanimous decisions to appoint Shinei Nouzen as captain and Raiden Shuga as vice-captain. Prior to meeting Shin, she had heard rumors about his emblem and scars, looking forward to working with him. She later agreed with Kujo's sentiment that Shin should guide them in death rather than die himself. Upon learning Handler-One was a "rich girl," she questioned her capabilities and suitability as a soldier. Her associated flower was the Aristea, and her Personal Name referenced the March Hare character from *Alice in Wonderland*.
