Description
Drakman commands the rebel group Orange Amusements against the governing E=X Bureau in Megazone 23 Part III. He orchestrates network-based insurgency from a hidden Eden headquarters, driven by a desire to dismantle what he sees as E=X's oppressive control, utilizing manipulative and exploitative tactics. He recruits hackers and netjackers, including the gamer Bud, whom he later forces via invasive cybernetic implants to pilot a Hargan III combat mecha, sacrificing followers for strategic advantage. Drakman distrusts spiritual leader Bishop Won Dai, dismissing rumors of his ancient origins as ridiculous and suggesting he might be a computer-generated illusion like Eve. Learning of E=X's classified Project Heaven—a plan to launch Eden into space—Drakman orders Edval to steal its data, aiming to sabotage the project. He attempts a military coup, directing cybernetically controlled Hargan units to attack E=X Tower while framing Sion's Orange faction to conceal his involvement. Drakman rejects Sion's proposal to broadcast Project Heaven data to citizens, insisting only a suicidal charge is viable, prioritizing brute force over ideology. His rebellion collapses when E=X commander Yacob destroys the Hargan forces, including Bud's unit. Drakman's actions following this defeat remain undocumented.
