Description
Maoto Tsujidō is a former idol and the current representative of the talent agency sMiLea Production. He was originally active as a member of the popular duo Anela alongside his close friend Lin Otsuki. Following their retirement from performing, the two established sMiLea Production, where Maoto took on the role of agency head and primary composer. Under his guidance, the agency nurtures new idol groups.
Influenced by his father from a young age, Maoto has been recognized as a skilled composer and is responsible for creating the music performed by the agency’s idols. His personality is reserved and introverted; he speaks very little and often appears detached from everyday concerns. His primary attachments are to Lin and to music, and he shows little interest in anything beyond these two things. This focus gives him a somewhat otherworldly air.
Maoto’s role in the story is that of a supporting figure and mentor. He does not seek the spotlight but instead works behind the scenes to develop the talents of the idols under his care. His key relationship is with Lin Otsuki, his former partner and closest confidant, with whom he shares a deep bond built on years of collaboration and mutual understanding. Through the series, Maoto remains a steady, if distant, presence, and his development is subtle, centering on his gradual willingness to engage more with the people around him. His notable abilities include musical composition, production, and the leadership of a talent agency, drawing on his own experience as a top idol.
