Description
General Henri Guisan serves as General of the Swiss Armed Forces during the Second World War, reflecting his historical role. His limousine nearly collides with Jeudi and a young girl named Clara, triggering their first encounter. Noticing Jeudi's resemblance to Helene—a woman he once knew and later confirmed as her mother—he intervenes on their behalf. Aware of Helene's past anti-Nazi resistance activities, he extends ongoing protection to Jeudi and Lundi throughout their journey. Guisan embodies national stability and resistance against external threats, directly opposing Nazi-aligned forces like Count Germont. When Germont orders Guisan's assassination, the hitman Tarantula abandons the mission upon learning Germont's full plans, declaring, "the Germont I knew has just died to me right now." Guisan's actions consistently prioritize safeguarding Swiss interests and supporting Nazi collaboration targets, establishing him as a protective authority. His role focuses on facilitating the protagonists' safety and advancing their quest against political adversaries, without involvement in their personal dynamics.
