Dai Suganuma, a 12-year-old sixth grader at Ishinowa Elementary School, is one of three childhood friends who discover a Power Stone. This awakening summons the Brave robot Dran and embroils the trio in a global quest to locate additional Power Stones. Possessing a thick, sturdy build, Dai complements his athletic prowess with a notably mild-mannered personality, standing as the least troublesome member compared to his more mischievous companions, Takuya Harashima and Kazuki Tokimura. He often aids their schemes despite his gentle nature. Within this trio's "Nice, Mean, and In-Between" dynamic, Dai embodies the "Nice" component, displaying genuine friendliness, a love for animals, and a romanticist outlook. He diligently documents their adventures in a daily diary. Beyond the core mission, he cultivates personal interests in cooking and flower arrangement. His role involves supporting the group's efforts to gather the Power Stones, aiming alongside the summoned Braves to reach the legendary land of El Dorado (Legendra).
