Description
Awakened from dormancy within a Power Stone guarded by an Egyptian Sphinx – obtained after three human protagonists answered 300 riddles – the Brave robot Advenger originates from Legendra. Designated the "Steel Armament" among the Legendra Braves, he immediately aided Goldran in repelling Prince Walter Walzac's forces upon his arrival on Earth.
His primary alternate mode is a flying steam locomotive, equipped for atmospheric and interstellar travel. This form conserves the energy of other Braves for combat, serving as the primary transport for the Braves and their human partners across global and interplanetary journeys. The locomotive features elements like a coal tender and accommodates additional DX toyline-compatible transport cars for other Braves, though narrative sources specify only a single internal compartment exists.
In robot mode, Advenger operates as a heavily armed combatant. Initially focused on close-quarters combat, he later revealed extensive projectile weaponry stored across his frame: the Mega Rifle beam gun, Smart Gun forearm cannon, Gatling Shot arm cannon, Ion Cannon shoulder cannon, Shoulder Launcher missiles, and Foot Launcher leg missiles. His most potent weapon is the Galactica Buster, an energy sphere fired from his chest compartment capable of damaging massive adversaries like the Zazorigun fortress. Additional capabilities include a Head Flasher bright light emitter for tactical retreats and the innate regeneration common to Legendra Braves, allowing recovery from severe damage.
He participates in combination attacks. With Captain Shark, his train mode docks onto Shark’s tail fin to form the Hyper Galactica Buster energy cannon. His ultimate collaborative technique is the Miracle Galactica Buster, where all eight Legendra Braves attach to Captain Shark in Hyper Galactica Buster configuration. This attack was deployed three times: destroying the Embryo robot squadron and three Death Garryguns in episode 43; attempting to breach the Gate of Legendra in episode 44 (unsuccessfully); and countering the Schwanstein's Planet Buster weapon in episode 45, resulting in the enemy ship's destruction.
Advenger evolves from a transportation and support unit to a pivotal combatant. Key battles include driving off the Zazorigun in episode 11 by unleashing his full arsenal and contributing to critical victories against Walzac Empire forces like the Death Garrygun and Schwanstein. His role extends to facilitating the Braves' journey to Legendra in the narrative's latter half.
