TV-Series
Description
Power Joe, designated BP-302, operates as a Build Team member in the Brave Police force. His alternate mode is a power shovel, and he specializes in martial arts, particularly Kung Fu. He employs nunchakus stored in his hips and tonfas during combat, alongside standard police weaponry.
He maintains an easygoing, laid-back personality, frequently delivering sarcastic remarks that may irritate others. Despite this trait, he effectively lightens team tensions and bolsters morale. His relationships extend beyond the force to include friendships with children Masaki Kitagawa, Emiri Aihara, and Kikumaro Takano.
As an original Build Team member alongside McCrane and Dumpson, Power Joe combines to form Build Tiger. The addition of Drill Boy enables their upgrade to Super Build Tiger. During early operations, he rescued Yuuta Tomonaga from an assassination attempt at a school. Later, under J-Decker's orders, he dislodged his own leg joints to attack his captor.
In a notable personal incident, Power Joe encountered a girl visible only to him, developing romantic feelings that demonstrated his capacity for emotional attachment. Separately, he sustained damage to his right optic sensor while thwarting an armed robbery. This injury impaired his navigation systems, causing disorientation, and communication failures prevented contact with headquarters.
Beyond the main series, Power Joe features in the Brave Saga video games. During Brave Saga 2, he teleported to the Wind Demon area and accepted employment under Dr. Amano.
