Description
Dr. Jango began as a member of an academic association, where his hunger for recognition drove him to steal research from fellow scientist Hiroshi Amano. Exposure of his theft resulted in banishment, fueling his descent into madness and igniting a vengeful crusade against those he deemed blind to his genius. To finance his operations, he stole 30 billion yen, constructing an elaborate underwater headquarters where he initiated sinister research on destructive technologies. His path converged with the Draias Force, an alien invasion led by the minus-energy entity Draias. Jango allied with Draias, providing scientific expertise and his base; Draias's subordinates Shura and Zol operated two of Jango's androids on Earth. Together, they pursued their "Darkest World" goal: plunging Earth into darkness.

As Draias's chief engineer of mechanical threats, Jango designed and deployed Mecha-Juu (Mecha Beasts), typically piloted by Shura or Zol, to attack Earth. His schemes consistently failed, drawing mockery from Draias and his subordinates. Secretly, Jango plotted to overthrow Draias using inventions like the "Devil Stone" to disrupt Draias's energy waves, aiming to seize universal dominion himself.

Jango's personality burned with envy toward Hiroshi Amano's achievements and refusal to accept responsibility for his banishment, blaming others for his downfall. He exhibited extreme arrogance, boasting of superiority until his plans collapsed. Routinely, he stole or modified Amano's inventions, claiming them for malicious purposes—even hijacking events like the Nobel Prize ceremony to claim undeserved accolades.

During Draias's final operation to construct the "Devil Tower" and harness universal minus energy, the tower's effects temporarily rejuvenated Jango, reversing his age. Yet Draias's defeat and the energy's depletion caused Jango to rapidly age beyond his former years. With Draias's forces destroyed, Inspector Satsuda apprehended him for his crimes.
