Description
Dinogeist commands the Space Pirate Geisters, energy-based space pirates traveling to Earth to plunder treasures for interstellar trade. As their leader, this antagonist uniquely transforms into three forms: a humanoid robot, a jet aircraft for transport, and a horned Tyrannosaurus Rex with yellow horns. A bat-like minion named Koumori relays orders to subordinate Geisters.

Possessing immense size, strength, and agility exceeding other Geisters, Dinogeist demonstrates strategic competence by devising plans that corner the opposing Kaisers. Combat arsenal includes the Dino Crusher firing clawed projectiles from forearm verniers; the Dino Blade materializing twin back-stored katanas that combine into the Dino Twin Blade; leg-mounted Dino Cannons flipping to fire; the Dino Buster emitting energy rays from chest fins; and the Dino Shooter restraining foes with electrical charges. The Dino Shield defends against attacks like Dragon Kizer’s Thunder Arrow until destroyed by Great Exkizer’s enhanced weapons. Special attacks include the Dark Thunder Storm unleashing electrical dinosaur-shaped blasts via Dino Blades and the ultimate Dark Thunder Inferno, channeling energy through the Dino Twin Blade for a strike nearly matching Great Exkizer’s Thunder Crash. Additional capabilities involve firing forearm fins as projectiles and the unseen 6-million-volt Dino Horn Breaker electric blast.

After Earth arrival, Dinogeist operates from a hideout, directing minion thefts until repeated failures prompt personal intervention, starting with stealing a cruise ship holding Kaisers’ human allies. Subsequent missions involve leading treasure heists, clashing with Exkizer and Space Police Kaisers. Escalation occurs upon obtaining the Energy Lifeform Capturing Device, a shield-shaped weapon imprisoning energy beings. It captures God Max (Max Team’s combined form) and Ultra Raker (Raker Brothers’ combined form). Human allies later free these Kaisers, provoking Dinogeist to kidnap key associate Kouta Hoshikawa. Pursuit shifts the battle to space and lunar territory. After Exkizer rescues Kouta, Great Exkizer defeats Dinogeist in a climactic duel. Facing arrest, Dinogeist rejects capture and flies into the sun, disintegrating completely. Surviving Geisters and associates are imprisoned in the Energy Lifeform Capturing Device on Earth.

Later narratives feature resurrection by Grand Dark, with Dinogeist appearing as an antagonist in Brave Saga’s second half. Within the television continuity, the character also assaults the Space Police Organization Headquarters alongside Demen Tribe’s Gaap in Brave Saga 2, suffering severe damage and incapacitation while floating in space.

Design-wise, Dinogeist remains the only triple-changing Geister and sole member with merchandise. While subordinate Geisters derive designs from Transformers’ Dinobots, this character features an original design with similarities to Grimlock: both lead groups, share color schemes in different distributions, possess Tyrannosaurus Rex modes, and have visor-and-mouthplate faces. The character model omits toy sticker details, reflecting a non-sticker design.

Merchandise includes a Kotobukiya plastic model kit replicating the character with extensive articulation, interchangeable hands, and accessories: Dino Blade, Dino Twin Blade connection parts, and Dino Shield. The non-scale model stands approximately 168mm tall.
