Description
Dorapin is a French robotic cat working as a thief, modeled after Arsène Lupin. He strictly adheres to a Robin Hood-inspired moral code, stealing exclusively from the wealthy or corrupt to aid the underprivileged, never for personal gain; this principle defines his actions across all documented appearances.

A professional thief constantly evading the French National Police, Dorapin relies on specialized skills: mastery of disguise, deception, sleight of hand, and camouflage, essential for his thefts and escapes. His standard equipment includes a distinctive wand crowned with a jewel that grants power to transmute objects or people, and a cloak transforming into wings for flight.

His significant relationship is with Mimimi, who acts as both companion and moral compass. She aided him after he was injured during a mission targeting the Duke of Monaco, who had stolen a jewel from the National Museum. Mimimi provided Dorapin with a magical orb capable of transformation, functioning only for the benevolent. This orb became central to his operations after the Duke kidnapped Mimimi to seize the artifact. Dorapin rescued Mimimi and retrieved the jewel, solidifying their partnership; she entrusted him with the orb permanently to further his altruistic goals.

Dorapin's character undergoes substantial development when confronted by Dr. Achimoff, who kidnaps Mimimi and fits her with a lethal collar controlled by a button on his golden tooth. Under this duress, Dorapin reluctantly antagonizes the Doraemons, stealing their Friendship Telecards on Achimoff's orders. He employs strategic deception, disguising himself as Doraemon to exploit Dora-rinho's forgetfulness and turning several team members into statues. This coerced antagonism continues until Achimoff reveals his deception about freeing Mimimi. Dorapin then uses a card obtained from Dora Med III to destroy Achimoff's control mechanism, freeing Mimimi and allying with the Doraemons to defeat Achimoff. This conflict transitions him from apparent villain to confirmed ally, though he flees afterward to avoid police attention.

Distinct personal traits include his preference for dorayaki filled with Camembert cheese instead of red bean paste, and significant phobias of dogs and dark environments. Despite his fear of dogs, he tolerates robotic canines, evidenced by his interaction with Mimimi's robotic dog, adding complexity to his persona.

Following the collaboration with the Doraemons against Achimoff, Dorapin departs but maintains an understanding with Mimimi and the team to reunite in the future. He becomes a recurring figure continuing his Robin Hood-inspired activities independently, retaining an enduring connection to those he assisted.
