Sasuke, a young boy, resides in a forest with his elder sister amidst friendly wild animals—a bear, a squirrel, a deer, and a fawn named Tinkle. Their peace shatters when a hawk attacks Tinkle, flinging the fawn into a lake. Tinkle’s mother leaps to save her but perishes at the jaws of a monstrous salamander, exposing itself as the shape-shifting witch Yakusha. Witnessing this horror, Sasuke vows to master magic and combat to destroy Yakusha and halt her reign of terror.

He travels to a mountain, training for three years under a wizard. There, he hones magical prowess and martial skill, transforming from an ordinary boy into a warrior equipped to face supernatural threats. During his absence, Yakusha’s bandit allies burn Sasuke’s home, forcing his sister to flee. She finds aid from a local prince, forging a pivotal alliance.

Returning, Sasuke confronts the bandits and rescues a young girl, displaying his newfound abilities. This provokes Yakusha to retaliate by kidnapping his sister. Sasuke joins the prince to assault Yakusha’s stronghold. In the climactic battle, he wields magic and combat mastery to defeat the witch, ending her terror.
