Description
Robin, a half-alien, half-human hybrid, is the son of Polto, a Palta scientist turned defector, and Sumiko, a human. Sent to Earth as a spy for Palta’s collapsing civilization, Polto abandoned his mission upon falling in love with Sumiko, crafting six specialized robots to safeguard their son before both parents were seized and returned to Palta. Raised by these machines, Robin commands the team they formed, charged with repelling Palta’s invasions.
The robots—a combat medic, a swift sharpshooter, a tactical analyst, a radar-sensitive feline companion, a transformable aircraft named Pegasus, and an armored sentinel—serve under Robin’s leadership. He orchestrates their abilities with strategic precision, though his unyielding discipline and impatience with mistakes create friction. Though devoid of superhuman powers, Robin excels as a marksman, pilot, and tactician.
His driving mission emerges mid-story: to liberate his parents from Palta. This goal is complicated by his human vulnerabilities—susceptibility to injury, fatigue, and environmental threats. A unique ability, "Miracle Nova," channels energy from a star-shaped birthmark on his chest to unleash devastating attacks, but each activation shortens his lifespan by three years.
Aging from 12 to 14 across the narrative, Robin’s maturation parallels escalating battles. He briefly appears in *Cyborg 009: Monster Wars*, collaborating with fellow protagonists during a crisis. His design and core identity—a hybrid leader grappling with human frailty and tactical demands—remain unchanged in adaptations, with no notable alterations in expanded media.
