Description
Cecilia stands as the revered Holy Saint of her community, distinguished by her green hair and green eyes. Her hair is cut short except for one long section on the right side of her head that falls to her waist. She is typically seen in her formal Holy Saint attire: a dress of white, navy blue, and yellow, a gold necklace with two crosses, and a long, hooded headpiece that reaches the back of her legs. For her duties as a maid, she adopts a different look, tying her hair into a long pigtail or ponytail and wearing a red dress with white details, a white apron, a white hat, and black bows.

Her demeanor splits between her public and private life. To her parishioners, she is a figure of dignity, refinement, and empathy, offering sincere counsel and comfort, which earns her the deep affection of the entire town. In the privacy of the church, particularly with Pastor Lawrence, this proper facade gives way to a much more relaxed, lazy, and often clumsy nature. She lounges idly, helps only when sufficiently motivated, and feels comfortable revealing her true self because Lawrence accepts her without judgment. She is physically incapable of telling a lie.

She nurtures profound romantic feelings for Lawrence, which manifest as protectiveness, frequent fluster in his company, and jealousy toward others who show him interest. Despite the obviousness of her affection, Lawrence remains mostly unaware of it. She depends on him heavily for daily chores and care due to her own domestic incompetence, though she makes attempts to assist him. She holds a particular fondness for the scones he bakes.

Cecilia receives messages from God and occasionally experiences prophetic dreams or visions of future events. She can perceive angels as luminous blobs and communicate with the dead. This connection to the divine brings her a measure of sadness, however, as she feels unable to perform greater miracles to aid people more directly. She also possesses a refined palate and a talent for seasoning food expertly.

Raised by her grandmother, she realized from a young age that she was a saint because she could hear divine messages. After her grandmother’s death, a vision came to her of a great flood that would drown a town. She journeyed to Lawrence’s town to deliver a warning and advocate for the destruction of a bridge to save its people. Initially met with disbelief and nearing collapse from exhaustion, she was aided by Lawrence, who believed her and persuaded the town to act on her guidance. The town was spared, and its grateful citizens suggested she reside in the church, a role she undertook with solemn dedication.

She has a powerful liking for scones and a pronounced fear of spiders. Her inherent clumsiness is notable, often causing her to trip or nearly fall even on level ground, to the surprise of onlookers.
