Description
Geronimo Junior, codenamed Cyborg 005, is a Native American from the southwestern United States. He endured severe racial discrimination leading to persistent unemployment. This included an incident where he punched a sideshow owner who offered him a demeaning role based on cultural stereotypes. Lacking alternatives, he accepted a deceptive job offer far from home presented by Black Ghost operatives. In another continuity, he worked as a construction worker before being lured by Black Ghost's false employment promises.

Following abduction, he underwent extensive cybernetic modifications, becoming the fifth model in Black Ghost's 00 Cyborg line. These enhancements amplified his considerable physical stature into superhuman strength, enabling him to lift and throw massive objects like boulders effortlessly. His skin gained significant armored durability. He was the first cyborg created when Black Ghost resumed its program after earlier complications.

Despite his imposing physique and role as the team's primary muscle, Geronimo Junior possesses a reserved, gentle, and deeply introspective nature. He maintains profound reverence for nature, often meditating and demonstrating empathy toward living beings. This connection sometimes manifests as a sixth sense, allowing him to perceive environmental changes or emotional states, though this ability is independent of his cybernetics.

After escaping Black Ghost with Dr. Gilmore's assistance, he joined the other cyborgs opposing the organization. Decades later, his chronological age advanced significantly while his physical appearance remained unchanged due to his cybernetic body. During the "GOD'S WAR" storyline, Cyborg 001 unlocked latent psychic abilities within the team, granting Geronimo Junior even greater strength.

In later years, he engaged in nature conservation activities across the Americas. By the events of "Call of Justice," United Nations data recorded his height as 210 cm (6'8") and weight as 280 kg (617 lbs). His design evolved, featuring a crew cut hairstyle replacing a mohawk and glowing red "veins" during strength activation, replacing earlier tribal tattoo motifs.
