Description
Shibas Scotch, renamed from Chivas in Japanese lore, thrives as a rogue sorcerer and bounty hunter in a fractured realm overrun by corruption and monstrous threats. A self-proclaimed opportunist, he flaunts his moral decay, reveling in hedonistic pursuits—gambling, heavy drinking, and manipulating others for profit. Exposure to purity or tranquility weakens him physically, forcing him to seek replenishment through acts of deceit or violence.

His entourage includes Gin Fizz, a devout nun magically bound to his service, and Kiss, an abused yet unwaveringly loyal werewolf, both marked by enchanted collars. Gemni, a swordsman nursing unresolved affection for him, faces constant rejection from the abrasive sorcerer. Relentlessly pursued by debts owed to the loan shark Million Dollar, Shibas undertakes perilous contracts for gold, prioritizing survival over honor.

A botched monster hunt once trapped his consciousness inside Gin Fizz’s body, an ordeal that resurfaces periodically due to his unstable Soul Crystal. This artifact fuels his Super Mode—a crystalline transformation with angelic wings—but its fragility risks catastrophic shattering. Though he mocks altruism, he sporadically shields Gin Fizz from harm, dismissing such acts as calculated moves rather than compassion, and insists he’d never abandon her despite routinely betraying others.

Cunning and self-interested, he outmaneuvers foes like Count Cuttlefish, exploiting plots involving ancient bioweapons and ritual sacrifices for personal gain. His static persona as an unapologetic anti-hero hides flickers of depth: pragmatic loyalty to his enslaved allies, contempt for emotional vulnerability, and a rootless existence shaped by his fall from sorcerer nobility. Without lands or lofty goals, he drifts through life driven by base desires and the need to outwit those who’d enslave him as he enslaves others.

The narrative frames him as a corrosive force within his world, clashing with nobler heroes while embodying the corrosive allure of power and the survivalist pragmatism of a man refusing redemption. His legacy teeters between destruction, shrewd self-preservation, and the faint, thorny protectiveness he denies toward those bound to his fate.
