TV-Series
Description
Jiromaru Takaba, younger brother of Ryo Takaba, embraces their nomadic life of travel and camping in nature. He displays profound admiration and loyalty towards Ryo, often following his lead and reacting defensively to any criticism of his brother, highlighting their mutual emotional reliance.

His speech features the distinctive "dasu" instead of the standard "desu," and he affectionately calls Ryo "anchan." Jiromaru has long dark hair, brown eyes, and wears an orange headband like Ryo's, typically paired with a pink shirt, brown gloves, light blue long pants, and white-pink shoes.

Cooking is his primary hobby, and his birthday is March 25. As a Mini 4WD racer, he pilots the frequently damaged "Jiromaru Special," a customized Saber 600. Early on, he attempted to cheat against rivals Retsu and Go Seiba by designing an uneven track but lost. Later, during the World Grand Prix (WGP), he substituted for an injured Ryo but suffered significant stage fright due to the event's scale. His relationship with Go Seiba remains contentious, marked by frequent arguments often tied to their mutual focus on Ryo.

Two decades later in *Return Racers!*, Jiromaru works alongside Ryo as a truck driver. His adult involvement in racing appears minimal, with no major character evolution depicted in spin-offs like *MAX* or *Tsubasa: The Next Racers*. His background lacks detailed exploration regarding parental figures or formal education, reinforcing his portrayal of a self-sufficient, sibling-dependent upbringing.
