Description
Professor Ohgami, also known as Dr. Ohgami or Seitaro Ohgami, is the primary ideological antagonist to Dr. Tsuchiya within Mini 4WD racing. He champions the development of battle-oriented Mini 4WD machines engineered to destroy opponents' cars, directly countering Tsuchiya's philosophy of fair competition rooted in speed and technical skill. His laboratory, situated near a volcanic area, features a lava pit used to dispose of rejected or defeated machines, including the original Sonic Saber and Magnum Saber prototypes.

He trains and equips battle racers such as J, Kai Okita, Gen Kondo, and Rei Hijikata, providing them with weaponized cars like Proto Saber JB, Beak Spider, Brocken Gigant, and Ray Stinger. These machines employ destructive technologies such as air cannons, razor-sharp blades capable of slicing through metal and trees, and electromagnetic spears, embodying his belief that victory justifies any means, including sabotage and demolition. His influence extends to organizations like the later Borzoi racing school, which perpetuates destructive battle racing tactics.

His rivalry with Tsuchiya stems from conflicting ideologies: Ohgami views racing as destructive battle, while Tsuchiya emphasizes sportsmanship and innovation. This conflict intensifies as Ohgami's battle racers disrupt community races, attempting to shift Mini 4WD culture toward aggression. His methods involve psychological manipulation, training J as an emotionless competitor and exploiting racers' ambitions to further his agenda.

While his direct appearances in spin-offs like *Return Racers* are not detailed, his legacy endures. Former protégés Kai, Gen, and Rei reappear, crucified and tormented by the new antagonist Crusher Jiro, symbolizing the lasting consequences of Ohgami's destructive philosophy. His battle-racing concepts, including Combining Mecha designs like the amalgamation of Beak Spider, Brocken Gigant, and Ray Stinger into "Beak Stinger G," continue to influence later antagonists and technological developments in the series.
