Description
Gouki Ichimonji, a former Borzoi Racing Academy student, rebels against the institution’s destructive battle-racing ethos, resulting in his expulsion for refusing to weaponize his Mini 4WD, Max Breaker. This defiance stems from his conviction that racing should prioritize technical skill and sportsmanship over combat, directly opposing his younger brother Retsuya’s early embrace of the academy’s ruthless tactics. Exiled to GEN Manufacturing under his uncle’s mentorship, Gouki sharpens his engineering talents and discovers the value of cooperative racing philosophies.

His path collides with Marina, a fiery racer commanding the Fire Stinger, whose relentless drive upends his lone-wolf mentality, pushing him to embrace teamwork and adaptive strategies. As Gouki challenges Borzoi’s dominance, his unwavering principles slowly sway Retsuya, mending their fractured bond. Beyond the academy’s shadow, he competes in events such as the Hyper Dash Grand Prix, piloting the enhanced Blazing-Max—a testament to his technical evolution and dedication to peaceful competition.

Gouki sports jet-black hair, piercing blue eyes, and ever-present goggles, clad in grease-streaked workwear. His temperament merges impulsiveness with earnest determination, punctuated by habitual forgetfulness, particularly for names. Beneath his rugged facade lies a sharp tactical mind and mechanical genius, propelling his rise from disgraced student to influential advocate for integrity-driven racing across diverse competitive circuits.
