Description
Dick Asimov begins as captain of the Rugger Guard starship, leading its Galaxy Garrison exploratory mission. After early Galveston Empire encounters, he transfers in episode 17 to serve as Supreme Commander Dewa's aide-de-camp on Earth.

Episode 33 sees him commissioned commander of the Three Allied Planets fleet for the assault on the Galveston homeworld. His diplomatic role emerges in episode 43 when he initiates peace talks with Teles on the Number 3 Planet of the Number 37 Star System. He proposes granting the Galveston Empire full planet ownership contingent upon abandoning global conquest, coexisting peacefully with indigenous populations, and disarming militarily. Supreme Commander Caponero's demand to displace the natives causes these talks to collapse.

Despite the failure, Asimov orders a protective fleet to remain at the planet to shield its inhabitants. Following the Galveston invasion and the empire's downfall in episode 52, he informs Socrat Tes that surviving Galveston citizens will be resettled on the Number 3 Planet, overseeing this migration.

His trajectory progresses from starship command to high-level military strategy and interstellar diplomacy, consistently emphasizing conflict resolution and safeguarding civilians.
