Description
W.A.R.S. operates as part of the Autobot Spychangers espionage unit, his designation abbreviating "Wicked Attack Recon Sportscar." He transforms into a Ford Thunderbird NASCAR stock car and deploys thick armor to ram adversaries at high velocity—an uncharacteristically aggressive tactic among Autobots that unsettles allies and enemies alike. He supplements close-quarters assaults with machine-gun fire.

Activating his "Spark Engine" triggers a "super mode," rendering his armor nearly impervious to artillery and tempering his hostility into calm focus. During Earth missions, he intercepts Predacons on a beach, executing wheelies with Hot Shot aboard, and reproaches teammates like Mirage (without apology) for perceived failures, even when tactics succeed. He safeguards a ruby from Predacon theft, competes in the International Grand Prix alongside Autobot Brothers, and aids Optimus Prime in diverting volcanic lava on Montrose Island using his Inferno Blast.

Routine duties include global space-bridge testing. He engages in pivotal battles: countering Decepticon ambushes after base exposure and confronting Galvatron in the final conflict, celebrating victory by racing Skid-Z. In expanded chronicles, Spychangers receive Spark Engines to combat Chainsaw’s Mutants. As Super Wars, he leverages enhanced armor offensively and defensively, his newfound composure proving crucial during the Mutant assault on the Autobot base. Though Spark Engines deplete, the team retains upgraded color schemes. Super Wars later aids the Dimensional Patrol, helping crash the Combatrons’ ship into Neo Brave Maximus during Scourge’s offensive.
