Description
Kanon operates on Earth under the alias Nozomu Kanou. Originating from Queen Earth, he serves as an emissary dispatched by Queen Helena. His mission targets the legendary guardian Nurse Angel and the Flower of Life, essential weapons against the environmental devastation inflicted by Dark Joker on his homeworld. On Earth, he assumes the identity of a sixth-grade transfer student at White Dove Academy, appearing as a princely, stoic figure with pink hair who garners admiration from classmates, including protagonist Ririka Moriya.

Initially, he mentors Ririka after granting her the magical nurse cap enabling her Nurse Angel transformation. Characterized by unwavering seriousness and dedication, he rarely smiles and doubts Ririka's capacity to bear the guardian's responsibilities alone. He conceals the conflict from Ririka's childhood friend, Seiya Uzaki, until circumstances force revelation. His loyalty remains deeply rooted with Queen Helena, his childhood friend and romantic interest, whose health is intrinsically linked to Queen Earth's decay.

A turning point arrives when he suffers a fatal injury battling Dark Joker lieutenant Keto. Already compromised by the corruptive Black Vaccine, he consciously refuses treatment with the finite, life-saving Green Vaccine, prioritizing its preservation for Ririka's battles. Before death, he transfers his psionic abilities to Seiya, entrusting him with Ririka's protection. His demise triggers a profound heroic breakdown in Ririka, though her resolve ultimately strengthens.

Subsequently, Dark Joker resurrects and brainwashes him using the Black Vaccine, transforming him into an antagonist. In this state, he dons darker attire and adopts a cold, manipulative demeanor, employing tactics like the wounded gazer gambit against Ririka. He serves as an implacable foe until Ririka, empowered by renewed resolve and allies, purifies the Black Vaccine corruption within him. Restored, he returns to Queen Earth and Queen Helena, resuming his duties.

His abilities encompass swordsmanship, psionic powers including energy projection and telepathy, and the capacity to erase memories of civilians exposed to conflict, ensuring their safety. His physical resilience increases markedly during his brainwashed phase. Visually, his design shifts from primarily white Queen Earth garments to navy attire during his antagonism, often incorporating a scarf that functions akin to a cape.

He later confronts Ririka with a truth uncovered by Princess Mimina: the Flower of Life is sealed within Ririka's life force, requiring her sacrificial death for release. This revelation forces Ririka into an agonizing choice between survival and universal salvation. After Ririka's apparent sacrificial act restores the Flower of Life, he departs for Queen Earth. The narrative leaves ambiguous whether he fulfills Ririka's final request to erase her from others' memories.
