Description
Hong-nyang, alias Crimson Girl, primarily manifests as a childlike figure resembling an eight-year-old with crimson hair and elven ears. She communicates minimally through growls and grunts. This form contrasts with her alternate identity, Lang Pao-pao (Wolf Rage-Rage)—a three-meter-tall, four-armed monstrosity exhibiting heightened strength, jagged teeth, and feral traits.
Originally a demonic enforcer for antagonist Benares’ faction, she was controlled by his servant Choukai through a specialized whistle. This instrument forced her transformation into Lang Pao-pao and compelled obedience. Her allegiance fractured when Pai repeatedly shielded her from harm, prompting Hong-nyang to defect. She now regards Pai as an elder sister, guarding her and allies with fierce devotion. Within Pai’s circle, she displays affection toward Haan Hazrat and teasingly antagonizes—yet fundamentally favors—Yakumo Fujii.
In her Lang Pao-pao state, she wields devastating claws, augmented durability, and amplified strength. Both forms retain acute senses, including an animalistic danger instinct alerting her to threats upon encountering new individuals. The control whistle’s loss or destruction leaves its influence uncertain, particularly if commands clash with her protective loyalty to Pai.
Her narrative arc shifts from antagonist to steadfast protector within Pai’s group. She persists as a recurring ally beyond her introduction, contributing combat prowess and unwavering allegiance.
