Description
Dubus Abriel emerges as a pivotal figure in the narrative surrounding his daughter Lafiel's origins. While on a honeymoon space voyage with his partner Plakia Lexshue, they encountered an abandoned spacecraft adrift. Driven by innate curiosity, Dubus persuaded Plakia to investigate the derelict vessel. On the bridge, they discovered the skeletal remains of an Abh royal, marked by a distinctive forehead jewel, seated in the command chair—evidence suggesting the ship had drifted for a considerable time.

This experience profoundly shaped Dubus's choices. After returning, he and Plakia resolved to conceive a child. Several years later, their daughter Abriel Nei Dubrusk Paryunu Lafiel was born. Dubus personally chose her name "Lafiel," a decision intrinsically linked to their encounter aboard the mysterious ship.

Dubus and Plakia mutually agreed to deliberately withhold Plakia's identity as Lafiel's mother. Their intent was for Lafiel to strive wholeheartedly to earn her mother's approval and pride, unaware of their direct biological connection. This agreement formed a foundational aspect of Lafiel's upbringing and motivations.
