Description
Jun Kubota, alias "Jun the Tiger," hails from Kanagawa Prefecture. Her background is defined by exceptional wrestling talent, leading to Olympic competition during high school. However, repeated unsportsmanlike conduct, including severely injuring an opponent, resulted in her expulsion and an Olympic ban. This incident saddled her with the derogatory nickname "Bone Crusher," which she despises for its link to her disgrace.

Seeking opponents without restraint post-disqualification, she joined the V.G. tournaments. Despite her aggressive fighting style, she maintains a strict personal honor code prohibiting weapon use in unarmed combat. Professionally, she balances multiple roles: a university student majoring in astrophysics and fluid mechanics at American national university "F," a part-time waitress (and eventual owner) of the restaurant Ska Lark, and an aspiring astronaut. Ska Lark features a first-floor gym, a second-floor dining area, and a wrestling ring where she frequently competes.

Physically, Jun stands 172 cm tall with an athletic build, olive or dark skin, and distinctive "hosome" green eyes. Her hair color varies between black and brown across appearances, often styled with spiky bangs or curtained, waist-length strands. Her typical attire reflects her work at Ska Lark: a waitress uniform, apron, headband, spats, and ribbon tie.

Her personality blends tomboyish toughness with underlying sensitivity. She exhibits a hot-blooded, violent demeanor in fights, openly reveling in combat and beer, while displaying contempt for weak opponents. Yet, she harbors affection for stuffed animals (especially Sailor Moon plushies), chocolate sundaes, and sports events. She respects formidable adversaries, accepts defeat honorably, and often befriends rivals who match her strength. Her bisexuality is depicted through flirtations and relationships with fellow fighters.

In combat, Jun specializes in wrestling and unarmed techniques, utilizing throws, grapples, and slams. Her signature moves include the Kubota Buster (a jumping backbreaker), Kubota Lariat (a rushing lariat), Earth Shaker (a ground punch generating energy geysers), and Kubota Special (a sequence of German Suplexes followed by a Buster). She manipulates ki to enhance strikes, manifesting as electricity-like energy. Notable feats include bending a barbell, creating craters with punches, surviving explosions and high falls unscathed, and briefly enduring space vacuums during astronaut training.

Her development involves reconciling a longstanding feud with Erina Goldsmith, initially stemming from discomfort around foreigners; their relationship softens after Jun meets Erina's grandmother. She also mentors younger fighters like Yuka Takeuchi, warning her about the V.G. tournament's dangers after their first match. Across media, Jun evolves from a disgraced athlete seeking redemption into a disciplined scholar pursuing space exploration, symbolizing growth beyond her "Bone Crusher" past.
