In the anime OVA *Tokyo Revelation*, the character known as the "Old Priest" serves as a spiritual figure offering sanctuary. When Marika Kusaka and Takehiko Kuki rescue Saki Yagami and Yousuke Miura from demon-possessed classmates, they seek refuge at his residence. There, he explains the nature of demons and the significance of magnetite, the energy enabling individuals like Marika and Saki to perceive supernatural entities.

Later, after Marika is infected by a parasitic demon via Akito Kobayashi's kiss, the priest performs an exorcism to remove it. Despite this action, he and Marika arrive too late to stop Akito and Gagyson from using Saki to summon the demon Ose.

The priest also intervenes when Kojiro Souma is attacked by the demon Cerberus. He subdues Cerberus and seals it into the body of Kojiro's deceased dog, Patra, commanding the demon to protect Kojiro in exchange for survival, thus providing Kojiro with a supernatural guardian.
