Yōsuke Miura is a high school student active in the newspaper club at Kichijouji Seijou Gakuen. He maintains close bonds with Kojiro Souma and Saki Yagami, who is also his girlfriend. Yōsuke exhibits a strong protective instinct towards Saki, especially when supernatural dangers emerge. Their relationship draws the attention of Akito Kobayashi, a transfer student possessing occult powers who targets Saki due to her elevated magnetite levels. Akito views Yōsuke as both a rival for Kojiro's attention and an obstacle to his schemes, leading to overt hostility. This conflict peaks when Akito manipulates demon-possessed classmates to attack Yōsuke and Saki during their walk home. Marika Kusaka and Takehiko Kuki arrive to aid them during this encounter. Yōsuke's role in these unfolding supernatural events is defined solely by his personal connections to those involved, casting him as an ordinary human navigating the demonic conflicts impacting his friends.
