Movie
Description
Marin Regan hails from the polluted future planet S-1, son of its head scientist. Following Emperor S-1's assassination by military commander Zeo Gattler, Gattler's subordinate Aphrodia frames Marin and his father for the murder, forcing Marin to flee through a wormhole that strands him on Earth in 2100.

After witnessing the destruction of a Martian colony by Gattler's Aldebaren Army, Marin allies with Earth's military organization Blue Fixer. His advanced spacecraft, the Pulsaburn, combines with Earth's Baldiprize and Cataranger vessels to form the giant mecha Baldios, pivotal in defending Earth against S-1's invasion. Marin integrates into Blue Fixer's team, operating alongside members including Jamie Hoshino, Jack Oliver, and Raita Hokuto under Commander Takeshi Tsukikage.

Marin's conflict with Aphrodia evolves from adversaries to a mutual vendetta after Marin kills her brother Miran under Gattler's orders. This dynamic shifts when Aphrodia defects from Gattler's forces, developing a romantic connection with Marin. She ultimately sacrifices herself during the final confrontation, dying in Marin's arms after being mortally wounded.

The narrative reveals a critical time loop: S-1 is confirmed to be Earth's future, devastated by ecological collapse. Gattler's hyperspace travel inadvertently causes the pollution that forces S-1's inhabitants to flee, creating a self-fulfilling prophecy. Marin recognizes Earth's landmarks like the Grand Canyon and recalls S-1's teachings, including biblical texts, foreshadowing this revelation.

In the series conclusion, Gattler triggers cataclysmic tsunamis by melting Earth's polar ice caps, flooding the planet and killing millions. Marin participates in removing a radioactive core from Earth's submarine base to destroy the Aldebaren fleet, eliminating Gattler and Commander Tsukikage. The series ends with Earth largely submerged, its survivors facing an apocalyptic future.

The film adaptation recontextualizes the ending: a rogue S-1 officer detonates Earth's nuclear arsenal, completing its transformation into S-1's wasteland. Aphrodia dies after shooting Gattler, and Marin survives alongside most Blue Fixer members, holding Aphrodia's body in a pietà-like composition. The survivors plan to search for remaining shelters.

Marin possesses blue eyes and shoulder-length blue hair. His arc transitions from fugitive to military leader, grappling with loss, betrayal, and the inescapable time loop defining his existence.
