Description
Biiko "B-ko" Daitokuji is the heiress of the wealthy and influential Daitokuji family, led by her father, the billionaire industrialist Hikaru Daitokuji, who bears a strong resemblance to Ted Turner and Tony Stark. A scholastic genius and honors student, she maintains a calm and poised public demeanor, showing deference to authority figures such as teachers. This outward composure conceals a haughty, selfish, and deeply arrogant personality. Her temper flares dramatically when she is denied her desires, revealing a childish and obsessive nature.
Her primary motivation is an all-consuming obsession with her classmate, Shiiko "C-ko" Kotobuki. This desire to win C-ko's affection away from her best friend, Eiko "A-ko" Magami, escalates into megalomania. She devotes her vast resources and intellect to this goal, though defeating her childhood rival A-ko often takes precedence over actually gaining C-ko's approval. Their rivalry began in kindergarten.
She possesses a genius-level intellect, with extraordinary proficiency in mechanical engineering and robotics. She can conceptualize advanced mecha overnight and have them built by the next morning, exemplified by her repair of the Alpha Cygnans' spaceship in a single evening. Her crowning achievement is the Akagiyama-23, a powerful battlesuit that grants her strength and speed rivaling A-ko's superhuman abilities. The suit allows flight and is equipped with heavy weaponry, including mini-missiles and an energy whip. She often wears it concealed beneath her normal clothing for immediate access.
Despite her slender frame, she exhibits significant physical prowess, capable of lifting a spider tank and throwing it hundreds of meters, and resilient enough to withstand a full-powered kick from A-ko. In other continuities, she can match A-ko even without her battle armor.
She is attended by four classmates—Mari, Ine, Asa, and Ume—who act as unpaid employees, frequently complaining about their poor compensation. They pilot her mecha, conduct reconnaissance, and assist in her schemes.
In the storyline of *Plot of the Daitokuji Financial Group*, she uses her genius to help the stranded Alpha Cygnan aliens, Captain Napolipolita and D, repair their spaceship after learning that C-ko has developed a soft spot for them. Her father manipulates military forces to attack the alien ship with a giant experimental mecha named Queen Margarita, based on blueprints he confiscated from her, in an attempt to seize their technology.
In other continuities, such as *A-ko the Versus*, her age is adjusted from 17 to 21, and she displays no lesbian inclinations, being solely attracted to the male character Gail. In the *Uncivil Wars* spin-off, she and A-ko work together as bounty hunters on an alien planet, indicating a shift toward a vitriolic best buds relationship.
Her appearance remains consistent: a tall, slender girl with long blue hair that curls at the ends and reaches her waist, and gray eyes.
