Description
Sherria Blendy, known as Chelia, is a human mage of the Lamia Scale guild and the younger cousin of Sherry Blendy. She surpassed her cousin's magical abilities early, excelling in her studies and skipping a grade. For this achievement, Magic Council Chairman Gran Doma gifted her a book on Lost Magic, which she self-taught and mastered, astonishing observers.
Petite in stature, Sherria has pink hair tied in two short pigtails secured by orange bows and blue eyes. She typically wears a pink sleeveless top with a dark blue center panel, a folded collar, and an orange ribbon. The top features a heart emblem on the left breast and an "X" on the right. She pairs this with a pale blue mini skirt, short white gloves, orange wristbands, and longer pink fabric extending to her upper arms held by matching armbands. Her legs are covered by long black stockings and white leg-warmers over black shoes. The Lamia Scale guild mark is on the right side of her right calf.
Sherria is shy, cheerful, polite, and notably clumsy, embodying the "dojikko" archetype through frequent tripping and falling. She is deeply loyal to her guild master and cares for her guildmates. Though she struggles to assert herself, often apologizing for mishaps, she exhibits bravery in combat. Sherria frequently speaks about love but admits her understanding hasn't reached her cousin's level. She shows particular concern for Lyon Vastia, becoming agitated by his infatuation with Juvia Lockser.
Competing for Lamia Scale in the Grand Magic Games, Sherria faced Wendy Marvell of Fairy Tail. Their match ended in a draw following an intense battle where Sherria revealed her Sky God Slayer Magic, enabling her to generate and manipulate black wind currents, consume air to replenish strength, and heal herself and others. Her key techniques include the breath attack "Sky God's Bellow" and the physical assault "Sky God's Dance," which propels opponents skyward. Despite the competition, she and Wendy formed a close friendship, bonding further at Ryuzetsu Land. Sherria later participated in the Naval Battle event but was eliminated.
During the Tartaros arc, Sherria demonstrated significant growth by willingly sacrificing her magic. She urged Ultear Milkovich to use the Third Origin technique on her instead of Wendy, reasoning that Wendy's Dragon Slayer magic would be vital against future threats like the Spriggan 12. This act unlocked Sherria's latent potential temporarily, enabling her to defeat a god, but resulted in the permanent loss of her magic. Afterwards, she reassured Wendy that love surpasses magic and survival itself holds value.
After Fairy Tail dissolved, Wendy joined Lamia Scale. She and Sherria formed the duo "The Sky Sisters," gaining recognition. Over time, Sherria gradually regained minimal magical capabilities, allowing only minor alterations performed with her hands.
Sherria dislikes spicy food and maintains a strong bond with Wendy, affirming their friendship transcends guild affiliations. Her relationship with Lyon remains a point of emotional investment, especially concerning his affections for others.
