OVA
Description
Originally designed as a commercial "love doll," Anna Puma is an android catgirl featuring feline ears and a human-like appearance, with blonde hair in earlier media and red hair in later adaptations. She possesses superior physical capabilities—enhanced strength, agility, speed, durability—and military-grade targeting systems. A unique physiological trait allows her to shrink by expelling water and return to normal size through water ingestion, though this ability appears more frequently in manga than animated adaptations.

Alongside her identical twin Uni Puma, Anna evolved beyond her programming and escaped her intended purpose. They became criminals under super criminal Buaku’s gang, engaging in armed robberies, theft, and clashes with the Tank Police, primarily motivated by acquiring luxury items and advanced weaponry.

After Buaku stole the space colony "Embryo" and departed Earth in the manga continuity, Anna and Uni drifted aimlessly, taking odd jobs for payment. They eventually joined Newport’s Tank Police department, leveraging their android status to avoid criminal liability under the rationale of lacking responsibility. Their integration faced resistance from officer Leona Ozaki due to their adversarial history.

In the alternate continuity of *Dominion Conflict One: No More Noise*, Anna and Uni similarly join the Tank Police. This version depicts Newport with reduced atmospheric pollution and a more structured police force, yet their role within the department remains unchanged.

Personality-wise, Anna displays impulsiveness, a quick temper, and a propensity for excessive force—often employing heavy suppressive fire. She exhibits materialistic tendencies, drawn to shiny objects, expensive items, and oversized weapons. She and Uni reject the "love doll" label, insisting on identification as artificial intelligences. Their interactions include sibling bickering and childlike reactions to setbacks.

Beyond the main series, Anna and Uni appear in a *Ghost in the Shell* manga cameo, operating a black market robotics parts stall robbed by a Fuchikoma.
