Description
Bruce Irvin serves as a bodyguard for Lee Chaolan in "Tekken: The Motion Picture," fulfilling a minor antagonistic role before his defeat by the android Jack-2. His origins trace back to a traumatic childhood in a crime-ridden area where gangsters murdered his parents and older brother, leaving him orphaned and forced to survive alone. He trained rigorously in Muay Thai kickboxing, competing in brutal underground fights to earn money and ultimately becoming an undisputed heavyweight champion. After refusing a bookmaker's bribe to throw a match during a Thailand tournament, Bruce killed his opponent, resulting in a contract on his life. Fleeing by plane, a confrontation between a hired killer and a Hong Kong detective caused a crash; Bruce survived with amnesia and was rescued by Kazuya Mishima's forces, who recruited him as a mercenary.

Bruce entered The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2 under Kazuya's command but lost to detective Lei Wulong, who sought justice for his partner killed in the plane crash. Following Kazuya's apparent death, Bruce faked his own demise with Kazuya's aid to escape Lei and hid for over twenty years, working as a mercenary and later as a survival instructor. When Kazuya returned for the fourth tournament, Bruce entered the fifth to reunite with him. He subsequently helped Kazuya seize control of the G Corporation and led its private army against the Mishima Zaibatsu, commanding global operations to eliminate Zaibatsu operatives. Bruce later entered the sixth tournament attempting to capture Jin Kazama under Kazuya's bounty but failed.

Displaying a cynical, battle-hardened personality, Bruce shows opponents little mercy. Despite his allegiance to Kazuya and his military role for G Corporation, he harbors a deep hatred for bullies and gangsters stemming from his past. This leads him to repeatedly intervene to protect children from harassment, a trait depicted in multiple tournament endings.
