Rocking Horse itself achieved sentience after washing ashore, sharing this origin with other animate objects found there. This entity possesses crucial knowledge about Lord Kuruku. Rocking Horse reveals Kuruku began as an ordinary puppet, mistreated and abandoned by his human owners. This mistreatment bred deep-seated hatred within the puppet, a key factor in its transformation. After being discarded, the puppet washed up at the End of the Earth. Rocking Horse explains that 200 years of exposure to sunlight at this location, fused with the puppet's intense negative emotions, granted it life and immense magical power, warping it into the vengeful Lord Kuruku.
