Description
Elmina, Princess of the Heavens and daughter to the King of Heavens, endures a curse confining her 17-year-old self within a 10-year-old's body—a condition common to all Platinum Princess candidates. As the fourth candidate, she represents the Heaven world in the quest to gather the scattered Eternal Tiara fragments, the Crystal Flowers, across five realms.
Initially serious, quiet, and emotionally reserved due to her father's perfectionist demands for flawlessness, this demeanor causes friction, especially with the Demon world candidate, Glenda. Elmina's sole companion during her isolated heavenly upbringing is Balizan, a large, kind-mannered robot steward offering comfort and support.
Physically, Elmina possesses long blonde hair, blue eyes, and angelic attire outside the academy. She is the tallest and most physically endowed among the five candidates, with unique wings granting unaided flight.
Throughout the series, interactions with Yucie and the other candidates soften Elmina's aloofness, fostering increased happiness and friendliness. She develops an interest in her peers' romantic relationships, joining them in lighthearted activities like spying on Yucie or Glenda. Despite initial rivalry, she maintains a neutral stance toward Glenda's fiery attitude.
In the final story arc, Elmina renounces her claim to the Eternal Tiara alongside Glenda, Cocoloo, and Beth, supporting Yucie's wish to save Prince Arrow. This act causes non-chosen candidates to vanish. Before disappearing, the group sketches a portrait of their friendship onto a stone slab. Their sacrifice enables Yucie's wish.
Following the resealing of the Eternal Tiara fragments, the curse lifts. Elmina returns to the academy with the other candidates, resuming her studies and friendships under normal growth conditions.
