Description
Gunbard, once a knight and celebrated hero, crafted the legendary Eternal Tiara—an artifact granting one ultimate wish. Born a commoner, he rose as Queen Ercell’s personal guard during her youth, forging a forbidden romance across class divides. Driven to prove himself worthy, he ventured through five realms—Human, Heaven, Demon, Fairy, and Spirit—to reclaim the Tiara’s fragments, conquering guardians and trials. Triumphant, he returned to find Ercell wedded to another by her father’s dying decree, shattering his hopes.

Exiling himself, he wandered battlefields until discovering infant Yucie in a basket amidst the aftermath. Abandoning knighthood, he retreated to raise her in isolation. His devotion manifested as smothering protectiveness, inundating Yucie with extravagant gestures while retaining battle-hardened resolve in crises.

Yucie’s ambition to attend Princess Academy and claim the Platinum Princess title—a potential key to breaking her eternal childhood curse—became his new crusade. Though their bond strained under his indulgence, he secretly brewed alchemical tonics to soothe her burdens.

When Prince Arc confronted him with suspicions of kinship, Gunbard deflected, urging the prince to honor the deceased monarch as his true father. Amidst the clash with Diabolos, he shielded Arc from a lethal curse and summoned a portal to secure the Tiara’s final fragment, upholding his knightly vows.

As the Tiara’s creator, he remained pivotal to the overarching struggle. When Yucie’s allies fell to secure her triumph, he united with fellow fathers to breach the Magic World anew, allowing her to resurrect vanished bonds and memories—symbolizing his evolution from a jaded warrior to a man bridging his storied past with his daughter’s independent future.

His appearance transitioned from a fresh-faced youth with flowing locks to a rugged, broad-shouldered guardian bearing a close-cropped beard and enigmatic slanted gaze. The once vibrant, unassuming knight matured into a jovial yet fiercely protective father, tempered by strategic brilliance on the battlefield.
