Description
Levi Ra, alternatively called Rebi Ra in certain texts, began as a disciple of Master Aguni Rai, honing his mastery of Nempo alongside rival pupil Genichirou Izayoi to wield chi—the universe’s vital energy. Consumed by envy toward Genichirou’s prodigious skill and craving unchecked power, he forsook his training, embracing demonic possession to gain formidable sorcerous might. This pact bound him to enable Hell’s incursion into Earth.

A decade before the central conflict, Levi Ra triggered the Demon Quake, severing Shinjuku from Tokyo and flooding it with infernal entities. His victory over Genichirou in a duel—showcasing his demon-gifted near-indestructibility—preceded this cataclysm. From his Shinjuku stronghold, he summoned three guardians to shield his ongoing ritual to breach Hell’s gates permanently.

His powers spanned accelerated healing, reality-warping illusions, mind domination, and a corrupted obsidian sword channeling devastating energy waves. A shroud of dark energy rendered him immune to mundane attacks, leaving purified chi as his sole vulnerability. To stall resistance, he ensnared the World Federation President in a lethal curse, compelling Aguni Rai to safeguard the leader as Levi Ra advanced his scheme.

His endgame hinged on sacrificing Sayaka Rama, the President’s daughter, to finalize the hellgate ritual. Yet Genichirou’s son, Kyoya Izayoi—having reclaimed his father’s Nempo legacy and purified chi—shattered Levi Ra’s aura and severed his demonic ties. Deprived of hellish sustenance, the sorcerer’s body crumbled into oblivion.

Levi Ra’s destruction unraveled Shinjuku’s demonic corruption, averting Hell’s takeover. His arc epitomized ruthless ambition, defined by a calculated exchange with infernal forces for dominion, devoid of remorse or complexity. His legacy endured as a testament to ruinous hubris and the resilience of those who opposed it.
