In a park, they debate starlight and fate, revealing his philosophical side. Confronting Saionji after the scientist gains near-invincibility from the virus, Benten fails to kill him via explosive decompression due to teleportation and regeneration. He ultimately injects Saionji with an antidote from colleague Gogol, triggering rapid aging and death. Remi returns to cryosleep per her request.
