Isao Murakami is a Tokyo University student and assistant to Professor Koichiro Kamishiro. Working alongside Mina Katsuki on Kamishiro's research team, he investigates ancient artifacts and the "Message of God." Murakami assists in examining a mysterious cube-shaped stone unearthed in Middle Eastern ruins, which holds two crystal triangles. He joins expeditions across Japan, including Mt. Aso and Kyoto's Mitsurin Temple, searching for the sacred Yatanokagami mirror. Murakami is present during confrontations involving factions like the Japanese Ministry of Intelligence, CIA, KGB, and the Hih tribe, all seeking the artifacts. Characterized by his blond hair, he is involved in the team's efforts to prevent Earth's destruction.
