Description
Santori stands tall and lean within the Inquisition, a Colonel commanding the elite Miracle Makers. His long limbs and heavily bearded face are mostly hidden beneath a wide-brimmed hat that shadows his eyes; thick rings bind the beard around his head. He constantly holds his left palm vertically raised before him, like perpetual prayer, even asleep. Dark, knee-length robes drape his shoulders over brightly patterned breeches. Grizzled hair coats his calves, and overgrown fingernails add to an unkempt look. Beneath the robes, a muscular frame bears extensive scarring and prominent, gnarled joints.

Despite his age, Santori remains boisterous and excitable, expressing emotions freely with loud laughter and unwavering good humor. He views nearly everything through a lens of pronounced optimism. His enthusiasm falters only when disappointed, particularly by opponents failing to provide the challenging fight he seeks. He often lists past experiences before declaring the current moment surpasses them all. Santori thrives on combat, especially when it tests his skill, a thrill-seeker marked by surviving countless perils. He clings fiercely to rare opportunities for genuine excitement, evident in his frustration during the Cyfandir battle over a perceived lack of worthy challenges.

Santori wields the Miracle "Patrem Inquisitor, Founder of the Miracle, May your Greatness Tower Over the Nefarious." This power projects amplified replicas of his body parts or entire form, emanating from a sigil on his back and mirroring his movements precisely. Damage or force applied to a projection transfers to his real body at reduced intensity; conversely, restraining or moving a projection affects him similarly. The solid projections can disintegrate most matter on contact, used for both defense and offense. While moving, he typically projects only one limb. When stationary, he can generate multiple limbs or a complete giant-sized replica. These projections risk self-injury. Sufficient damage dissipates a projection, requiring time to reform. Achieving maximum projection size necessitates the combined assistance of fellow Thaumaturges Ullmina and Liselotte, indicating their powers synergistically enhance his Miracle's output.

Santori serves as a significant antagonist during the Cyfandir conflict, directly opposing sorcerers like Seth whom the Inquisition targets. His confrontation with Seth culminates in Seth posing the question: "...which one of us is a slave? Between you and I... Which one is the slave of his stupid ideals?" This exchange underscores the clash between Seth's evolving views and Santori's adherence to Inquisition doctrine. Santori's actions are driven by his duty within the Inquisition and his personal pursuit of exhilarating combat against formidable adversaries.
