General Khaidenn commands the Kingdom of Honnêamise's Royal Space Force, a fledgling space program grappling with low morale and public ridicule. He relentlessly pushes towards achieving human spaceflight despite limited success with unmanned satellites. To secure vital funding and public backing, Khaidenn orchestrates a deceptive publicity campaign, falsely presenting the orbital capsule as a "space warship" to enthusiastic crowds and arranging a financially dubious deal.

When volunteer astronaut Shirotsugh Lhadatt joins the program, Khaidenn oversees mission preparations. Amid escalating political tensions with the neighboring Republic, the government relocates the launch site to a demilitarized zone near the border, intending to provoke an attack and use the rocket launch as a catalyst for war. Recognizing the imminent Republic invasion, Khaidenn advances the launch timetable. He insists on maintaining full pre-launch procedures despite the attack, prioritizing mission integrity and personnel safety. During the chaotic invasion, Khaidenn supports the ground crew's decision to proceed with the launch against government pressure to abort, enabling the successful liftoff.
