Bingo's primary motivation is collecting 101 magic cards, which materialize from good deeds, to gain admission to the University of Fairy Land. To gather these cards, she and Binga intervene in the plots of Andersen's tales, attempting to modify their endings for the better, though these attempts are typically unsuccessful.
