Her duties include supplying mission-critical information to field agent Najica Hiiragi, conducting research, and maintaining communications during operations. She frequently works in the background alongside colleague Rena Uzuki, sometimes acting as Gento's liaison for mission briefings.

While primarily focused on logistics and support, Shinobu possesses proven combat skills activated in critical moments. During the final clash at Dr. Ren's base, she skillfully pilots a CRI helicopter, enabling Rena to eliminate defending Humaritts with a sniper rifle. After her helicopter is shot down, she escapes safely by clinging to Rena during a parachute descent. Shinobu later rejoins the battle, directly engaging Humaritts with a machine pistol and demonstrating proficient marksmanship. This confirms her training encompasses firearms operation and combat helicopter piloting, extending beyond administrative tasks.
