Description
Golg Boddole Zer commands the 118th Zentradi Main Fleet, comprising 4,795,122 ships. His directive to pursue a crashed Supervision Army vessel—later identified as the SDF-1 Macross—ignited Space War I between the Zentradi and humanity. A rigid enforcer of Zentradi military doctrine, he deemed cultural exposure from humans a severe contamination threat. After subordinates Britai Kridanik and Moruk Lap Lamiz failed to capture the Macross and succumbed to cultural influence, he deployed his entire fleet to Earth in 2010. His objective was the annihilation of the SDF-1 Macross, defecting Zentradi forces, and Earth itself. During the battle, he commanded the obliteration of Earth's surface, reducing human survivors to fewer than one million. His flagship was destroyed by an unorthodox tactic from the SDF-1 Macross, resulting in his death.

Within the theatrical continuity of *Do You Remember Love?*, he possesses an ancient music box relic, hinting at prior awareness of Protoculture cultural artifacts. This knowledge informs his recognition of the disruptive power of human music, particularly Lynn Minmay's songs. During the film's climax, he breaks a temporary truce to attack the Macross, only to be killed when Hikaru Ichijyo pilots a VF-1S Valkyrie into the core of his flagship. Later Macross productions, such as *Macross 7*, reference *Do You Remember Love?* as an in-universe film, but no further narrative development or appearances occur for Boddole Zer beyond his depiction in the original series and film. His role remains confined to the events of Space War I and its theatrical retelling.
