Quamzin Kravshera, also called Kamujin or Kamjin Kravshera, commanded Zentradi forces during Space War I. His reckless tactics and disregard for his own troops earned him the infamous moniker "Quamzin the Ally Killer," stemming from incidents of destroying friendly divisions through carelessness and killing his crew in a drunken brawl.
He joined the conflict under orders to assist Vrlitwhai Kridanik's fleet in capturing the SDF-1 Macross. His arrival immediately alarmed Exsedol Folmo due to Quamzin's irrational violence, especially after his ships recklessly spacefolded into the fleet, colliding with allied vessels—an event he and his crew had wagered on. Quamzin led multiple failed assaults, including an attack on Mars to disable the resupplying Macross. He later destroyed the Macross' radar installations against orders, leading to the capture of key human personnel. His most audacious tactic replicated the Macross' "Daedalus Attack," forcing troops up the ship's boarding ramp and causing significant damage to Macross City. This assault backfired when Zentradi defected after exposure to human culture and Lynn Minmay, prompting Quamzin to violently turn against his own troops.
After Zentradi Supreme Commander Boddole Zer arrived, Quamzin refused to join the civil war and vanished for two years. He rallied culturally disillusioned Zentradi in South American jungles, restoring a crashed warship by attacking human cities for resources. His Christmas Eve 2011 assault on Onogi City involved stealing a reactor and detonating bombs that devastated the city. In January 2012, with his restored ship and accompanied by his lover Moruk Lap Lamiz—despite their shared disdain for human culture—he launched a final suicide attack on Macross City, ramming his vessel into the Macross and causing massive mutual damage. He was presumed dead, though his legacy fueled Zentradi militarist resistance into the 2050s.
In the film *The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?*, a retelling of Space War I, he appeared as Quamzin 03350, a battle suit pilot aboard Vrlitwhai's ship who killed Roy Focker by crushing his Valkyrie's cockpit during an escape. He later resurfaced in the video game *The Super Dimension Fortress Macross 2036*, set in a parallel continuity, having survived with cybernetic enhancements. There, he led the Neld Zentradi backbone fleet against Earth in 2036, orchestrating attacks on U.N. Spacy forces at Mars and Neptune before escaping with subordinates Grimzo and Jinna after his fleet's defeat.
Quamzin piloted a rare Glaug officer battle pod recovered from ancient Zentradi armories thousands of years earlier, equipped with advanced weaponry like impact cannons and seeking missiles, and noted for superior maneuverability. His personality blended tactical brilliance with volatility, marked by impatience, insubordination, and demanding subordinates call him "Boss." His influence persisted culturally, seen in *Macross 7* with a Zentradi actor portraying him in a Space War I retelling, and in *Macross Frontier* with the similarly designed character Tehmzin.
