Aderishia is a priestess of Rahda, the god of knowledge, embodying calmness and wisdom central to her role. She provides guidance to Redon, helping him navigate anger and sadness and nurturing his emotional growth.

She fled the kingdom of Da'nan with Redon, Kwairde, and Nasare after Malid orchestrated the attack that killed Redon's parents. They escaped through a crevice in The Gods' Wall into Crystania, becoming trapped when the crevice healed behind them.

Aderishia wields Rahda's potent magic, which she invokes sparingly, only when lives hang in the balance. This restraint arises because the magic disrupts Crystania's divine balance; its existence falls outside the delicate equilibrium maintained by the Cycle of the animal gods, making it a threat to them. This inherent danger defines her capabilities and necessitates her cautious approach.
