OVA
Description
Originating as Pirotess, a dark elf serving King Ashram on Marmo in the Record of Lodoss War universe, she followed Ashram to Crystania after he sacrificed his physical form to the malevolent deity Barbas to secure refuge for their people approximately 300 years before the Crystania events. In Crystania, transformed from a dark elf into a human appearance and adopting the name Sheru, she was driven by the goal of liberating Ashram's body from Barbas's control. Ashram's soul remained imprisoned in the chaotic realm while Barbas wielded his physical form to dominate Crystania as the self-proclaimed "Gods' King."

She harnessed the mystical Chaos Ring to access the chaotic realm where Ashram's soul endured torment, a quest defining her actions throughout the Crystania saga. Her journey intersected with new protagonists like Prince Redon of Da'nan, leading to an uneasy alliance against the resurgent Barbas and his followers despite her initial reluctance. Traveling towards the Berudia/Dayton Castle region, she disclosed key aspects of her 300-year backstory: Ashram's physical possession by Barbas, the resulting destabilization of Crystania's animal god hierarchy, and her unwavering determination to reclaim Ashram's body using the Chaos Ring. This occurred amid escalating conflicts with Barbas's adherents, particularly the antagonist Garudi who sought the Chaos Ring's destruction and her elimination.

Her character development showed a transition from solitary purpose to tactical cooperation, coordinating with Redon during combat against Garudi's forces. This included protective actions toward allies like Aderishia while maintaining strategic independence in critical confrontations. The Chaos Ring OVA depicted her experiencing visions of her past identity as Pirotess, intensifying her resolve to breach the chaotic realm and confront Barbas directly to free Ashram.
