Description
Talpa, named Aragō in the Japanese version, reigns as the eternal antagonist across all media. A millennium past, his conquest of the mortal realm was thwarted by the warrior mage Ancient One, who banished his spirit to the Nether Realm. Unable to destroy Talpa’s armor, the Ancient One shattered it into nine mystical armors—five imbued with virtue for noble warriors, four corrupted to forge the Dark Warlords.

Resurgent in the modern era, Talpa unleashed chaos upon Tokyo, seizing strategic strongholds and hunting the armor-bearing warriors. By draining energy from allies and enemies alike, he materialized a physical form, only to be obliterated when the warriors summoned the Armor of Inferno, a radiant embodiment of purified solar force.

His essence endured, plotting from the Nether Realm. He crafted a black counterpart to the Armor of Inferno, enslaving Tanzanian warrior Mukala as its host. Mukala’s resistance and the warriors’ purification foiled this scheme. Talpa then ensnared Lady Kayura, last descendant of the Ancient One, via a hypnotic amulet. Even after its destruction, residual psychic bonds sustained his manipulation until her redemption.

In his final gambit, Talpa nearly fused all nine armors into his essence. Anubis, a redeemed warlord, sacrificed himself to disrupt the ritual, enabling the warriors to annihilate Talpa using the Jewel of Life—a vessel of the Ancient One’s lingering power.

Posthumously, Talpa’s legacy persisted. *Gaiden* revealed his armor fragments exploited by a deranged scientist. *Legend of the Inferno Armor* unraveled the clash between the black and white armors. *Message* chronicled his spectral presence breaching reality through dimensional rifts, vanquished by the warriors’ united front.
