Description
Kuroda Jirougorou, alias Rajura (Japanese) and Diablo (Spanish), emerged into the world on September 19, 1549, in Musashi Province’s Kanto region. Born to a samurai lineage tracing back to the seven Musashi clans of the Kamakura and Nanboku-chō eras, his family had dwindled to vassalage by his birth. Disillusioned by their faded glory, he abandoned his heritage to seek battle, weathering relentless defeats and indignities that forged his unyielding endurance (Nin). This resilience molded his strategic mind, patience, and relentless ambition.
Recruiting battlefield comrades into an assassination unit, he orchestrated a daring plot to assassinate a powerful warlord. Amid this gambit, he crossed paths with Talpa (Arago), ruler of the Netherworld, who bound him into servitude in exchange for power. Transformed into a Dark Warlord, he donned the Gen armor of Illusion, its maroon and gold hues evoking summer’s heat and deception’s shadow. A battle-cost left eye, hidden beneath a patch, became a lingering mystery.
The Gen armor allows him to weave intricate illusions, bending perceptions to cloak himself, reshape surroundings, or conjure false tranquility. His Rokuashi Naginata, a spider-like polearm with six bladed legs, ensnares foes in adhesive webs. Forearm-mounted nunchaku, a morning star, and techniques like the "Web of Deception" amplify his psychological warfare, trapping enemies in both physical and mental binds.
Light-based assaults—especially from the Shakujo, Jewel of Life, or Sage’s truth-revealing blade—exploit his vulnerability. Though unwavering in loyalty to Talpa, flickers of samurai honor occasionally pierce his ruthlessness, hinting at unresolved conflict. Across media, he endures as Talpa’s calculating strategist, deploying illusions to destabilize adversaries. His identity remains anchored in endurance honed through hardship, a duality of merciless cunning and the ghost of a warrior’s code.
