Konoe actively leverages his authority and influence within Meifu’s bureaucracy to shield Tsuzuki from scrutiny or discipline by higher officials. His gruff demeanor toward subordinates reflects his position as a demanding superior.

Outside official duties, he displays a strong preference for sweet foods. An author’s note in volume 2 of the source material identifies his black belt proficiency in an unspecified martial art.
