Fuyuhiko Rokudo is an archaeologist and the father of Natsumi Rokudo. During his work, he brought back a statuette containing two gems that imprisoned the spirit Ongo from New Guinea, intending it as a gift for his daughter. This act inadvertently sets the main events of the story in motion. Natsumi feels frustrated that her father continues to treat her like a young girl rather than recognizing her maturity. His wife, Haruka Rokudo, is a housewife. The story takes place in July 2009, and his office computer is a Macintosh 9500/200MP.
